GATE Admit Card for 2022- Link, Steps to Download 

 

GATE exams are getting closer than ever. The organizing committee, IIT Kharagpur, will be releasing the admit card on their official website on January 3. The downloadable link for the GATE admit card will be available at the GOAPS website, at it will address the individual candidates’ names, addresses, exam dates, timings, exam center, etc. 

Once the admit card is out, you can download it by entering your enrollment ID and the password. Remember that the admit card is an important piece of document, and you won’t be allowed to appear for your GATE exam without it. Read ahead to uncover everything that you need to know about it.

Downloading GATE Admit Card 2022 

Candidates won’t be provided with the hard copies of their admit cards- they will be available online on the official GOAPS website. You need to download it directly from there. You can check more details about the GATE admit card here or use the following steps: 

  • Open the GATE official website. 
  • Log in using your GATE enrollment number and password. 
  • Click on GATE Login. 
  • Hover over the download link for the admit card and download it. 
  • The downloaded admit card will be in pdf format. 
  • Keep the admit card saved in your device, and generate a hard copy for the same (that you will be carrying in your GATE exam).

Things to carry along with Admit Card 

Every GATE candidate needs to carry a valid photo ID proof and admit card for this session’s exam. Here is a list of the acceptable photo IDs for GATE 2022:

Important Points to Remember 

  • Carrying your admit card is a prerequisite to appearing for the GATE exams. Do not forget to carry it along. 
  • The admit card alone is not enough. You must also carry your photo identity to proceed ahead for verification at the exam center. 
  • Your photograph on the admit card must be clear, and the signature must be legible. Be vary of it while uploading.
